NANUK

Introducing Compusult's Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV), NANUK is a cost-effective, ruggedized robotic UGV designed for hazardous and challenging outdoor and indoor environments.

NANUK Rugged Base

The NANUK features a rugged base with various configurations, and contains all drive components, computers, navigational units, power system, and sensors.

NANUK Radio Control Unit

User-friendly, handheld radio control units allow users to set up, start, pause, and end missions, as well as receive data and video transmissions from beyond line of sight (BLOS).

NANUK Software

Software uses a combination of Robot Operating System (ROS), Arduino, Open Source Computer Vision Library (OpenCV), and custom Java code running on a Linux platform.

Custom Design Options

Custom Design Options

Compusult's Nanuk UGVs have a modular design approach and operate in autonomous, semi-autonomous, and manual navigation and mapping modes. Nanuk UGVs can conduct, plan, and execute scenarios, even in GPS-denied environments.

Nanuk is currently available in three primary models, with options for deployment on alternative bases and/or with customized payload and sensor packages to meet any customer or application needs.

Nanuk UGVs are designed to carry out autonomous navigation, be configured with various payloads and sensor packages for many different operational and monitoring applications, conduct 2D/3D mapping missions, and operate in hazardous and challenging indoor and outdoor conditions.
